Is it just me, or do England and Scotland not like women's names? To me, they sound very masculine. Well actually they just don't sound like names for people at all, but if they had to be, then they sound like men's names.
I won't deny I feel a sense of pride in my country, but using England is still a little to 'bold' for me.
My best friend's 10-year-old cousin is a girl named Scottie. Just Scottie.
